Forest Service
The Forest Service facility serves as the district headquarters for the Arapaho-Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee National Grasslands. The building features a visitor information center, a conference center for public meetings, an exhibit area and an emergency response center for coordinating forest fire operations.
The Forest Service building is the final building on the Colorado State University Foothills Campus’ - Natural Resources Research Center (NRRC). The NRRC is a collaborative effort among the GSA, USDA, the City of Fort Collins and the U.S. Department of the Interior.
Included among the 164 Forest Service personnel that occupy the facility are wildlife biologists, fire ecologists, hydrologists and botanists as well as financial analysts, computer specialists, mapping and engineering specialists, recreation planners and landscape architects.
